“Never let success get to our heads, and failure to our hearts”
I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone as genuine, selfless, and ambitious as my roommate. I’m so lucky to have met her this year and to have found someone I can truly see myself being friends with for the rest of my life. She inspires me to be a better person (even though she doesn’t know it) with every heart to heart that we have.
This year is the most challenging year of college by far, but I love it because my roommates are the people that make this year so worthwhile. Cheesy, but there is just so much synergy in Apt. 408. I hope that the friendships I have with my roommates continue to grow stronger, and last unlike some of the friendships I have made in the past.
I’m not going to make that mistake again from here on out… I know its tough, but I am going to make a sincere effort to keep these friends close, the people I want to see succeed.
And in the future, when we do become wealthy and accomplished, we’ll still be humble and never let success get to our heads.
